This trash didn't likely accumulate here in one day. So why hasn't anyone cleaned it up? It seems Jackson County doesn't get many tourism dollars, so where is all of that extra gas tax money going? "Lack of education" or "it's cheaper than a trash bill"? Mosquitos must just love this place! It would seem that more than one state agency could share the blame. Afterall, I think the DOH should be responsible for picking up road trash, the DEP should be responsible for environmental protection, and the Health Dept. should be concerned about the potential for mosquito related illnesses. West Virginian #1 says "I don't see any trash". West Virginian #2 says "I don't see any trash". Conclusion: If you see trash in the photo, maybe you are not a West Virginian. Page 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
